Built by a Runner, for Runners.

I'm a high school cross-country and track athlete who knows firsthand how frustrating injuries can be. Missing practices, watching your team race without you, not knowing when you'll be back. Every search led to either a wall of medical jargon I couldn't follow or advice so vague it was useless. Rest and ice. See a doctor. Avoid aggravating activities.

Beyond The Finish Line exists because runners deserve better than that. This is not a replacement for medical care but a real, clear starting point. Something that tells you what's happening in your body, whether it's serious, what you can do right now, and what recovery actually looks like.

Every injury guide on this site is reviewed by licensed physicians and certified athletic trainers to make sure the information you're reading is accurate, safe, and genuinely useful. This isn't just a student project. It’s a resource built to the standard that athletes actually need.

Running is hard enough. Figuring out your injury shouldn't be.
